Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 cup medium to large shrimp, cooked until pink and opaque

For the Base

  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 0.5 cup lime juice fresh
  • 0.25 cup clam juice
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

For the Freshness

  • 0.5 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup avocado, diced
  • 0.5 cup cucumber, diced
  • 0.25 cup cilantro, chopped
  • to taste salt

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  • In a large mixing bowl, prepare ingredients: dice tomatoes, finely chop red onion, dice avocado and cucumber, and chop cilantro.
  • Add cooled shrimp to the bowl and pour in lime juice, clam juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently with a spatula.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed, then gently mix again.
  • Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve in glasses or bowls, garnished with additional cilantro and accompanied by tortilla chips or on lettuce.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh ingredients and customize the heat with hot sauce according to preference.
