  • In a large skillet, over medium heat, add 4 slices of chopped thick-cut bacon. Cook the bacon for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crispy.
  • Carefully leave about 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings in the skillet. Add the halved shallots to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
