Preparation Steps

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Mix well.
  • Gradually add warm water and melted butter. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
  • Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  • Place in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake the loaf for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
