Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Sauté the finely chopped onions for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until golden.
  • Introduce the finely chopped mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until moisture is released.
  • Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Fold in the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, thyme, and crushed red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Fold in the cooled mushroom mixture until evenly incorporated.
  • Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool for about 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm with baguette slices or tortilla chips.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven.
