Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the noodles and cook until al dente, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Coat the flank steak with cornstarch and set aside for 10 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef in batches for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, stir-fry garlic, ginger, carrot, and bell pepper for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  • Return beef to the skillet, add the vegetables, and pour the sauce over. Toss and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked noodles and toss until well-coated with sauce.
  • Serve on a platter garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For best results, ensure noodles are al dente and beef is fully coated with cornstarch for a crispy texture.
