Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce Delivers a rich flavor
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Offers tanginess
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Keeps chicken juicy
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic Adds aromatic warmth
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Adds spice

For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces chicken breast or thighs Choose your favorite cut

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients and whisk until well-blended.
  • Add the chicken to the marinade, ensure it's thoroughly coated, cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F.
  • Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and grill for another 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature is at least 165°F.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

This dish is meal prep-friendly and can be paired with jasmine rice or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
