Ingredients
  

For the Truffle Base

  • 15 cookies Nutter Butter cookies crushed
  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter preferably natural
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup Chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil optional
  • 1 pinch Sea salt optional

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Crush the Nutter Butter cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin.
  • Combine the crushed cookies, creamy peanut butter, and powdered sugar in a bowl, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Scoop out small portions and roll them into 1-inch round balls, placing them on a lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes until the truffles are firm.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  • Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, then place back on the lined baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle sea salt on top of each coated truffle if desired, before the chocolate sets.
  • Chill the coated truffles for at least 1 hour until the chocolate hardens completely.

Notes

For best results, ensure cookies are finely crushed and allow for adequate chilling time for the truffles.
