  • Sauté the Onion: Add chopped onion to the skillet. Sauté until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add Garlic and Spice: Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional minute.
  • Simmer the Sauce: Pour in crushed tomatoes, stir well, and let simmer for 10 minutes over medium-low heat.
  • Incorporate the Cream: Stir in heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes until thickened.
  • Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add drained rigatoni to the skillet and gently toss to coat with the sauce.
