Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Season 1 pound of chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Cook the chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
  • Sauté 4 cloves of minced garlic in the skillet for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add ½ cup of chicken broth and scrape the skillet's bottom.
  • Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and let it come to a simmer.
  • Let the sauce simmer for about 3-4 minutes until it thickens.
  • Add ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Cook gnocchi in boiling salted water according to package instructions.
  • Combine the cooked gnocchi and sauce in the skillet.
  • Slice the rested chicken and add back into the skillet.
  • Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
