Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain and transfer to a pot with 2 cups of water, bring to a boil over medium-high heat, and then simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the pot from heat, cover with a lid, and let it sit for 10 minutes to steam.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork and transfer it into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chopped green onions. Whisk together until well-blended.
  • Spread the spicy mayo mixture over the layer of sushi rice in the baking dish.
  • Scatter the flaked salmon fillets evenly over the spicy mayo layer.
  • Bake for 10 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
