Ingredients
  

For the Dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened, at room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup caramel sauce reserve some for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice to keep apples fresh

For Serving

  • chopped nuts optional
  • mini chocolate chips optional

Preparation Steps

  • Wash the apples under cool, running water to remove any residues. Core each apple and slice them into wedges, about ½ inch thick. Soak them in cold water with lemon juice to keep fresh.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  • Gradually sift in the powdered sugar while mixing on low speed. Continue for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • Add the vanilla extract and mix on medium for 30 seconds to combine.
  • Gently fold in the caramel sauce with a spatula, reserving some for drizzling.
  • Chill the mixture in a covered container for about 30 minutes for better texture.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and drizzle with reserved caramel. Add toppings if desired.
  • Serve alongside apple wedges for dipping and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, serve the dip chilled and top with nuts or chocolate chips as desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
