  • Place the chicken breasts into the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover with plastic wrap or transfer to a resealable bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.
  • About 10 minutes before cooking, preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
  • Drizzle olive oil in the preheated skillet or brush over the grill grates.
  • Cook the chicken breasts on each side for about 6-7 minutes until golden-brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • In a small saucepan, boil the reserved marinade (that hasn't touched raw chicken), then reduce and let simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
