Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat for about 8–10 minutes.
  • Mix the cooked meat with ricotta cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  • Fill the uncooked cannelloni tubes with the meat and cheese mixture.
  • Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Arrange the filled cannelloni in a single layer over the sauce.
  • Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the filled cannelloni.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
