  • 1 pound Beef steak (sirloin or ribeye) cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder

For the Vegetables

  • 4 medium Russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

For the Sauce

  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

For the Creaminess

  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Toppings

  • 4 slices Cooked bacon crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped green onions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season them with salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of oil. Once hot, add the seasoned steak and brown for about 3–4 minutes.
  • Transfer the browned steak to the crockpot to retain flavors.
  • In the same skillet, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2–3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Transfer the onion and garlic mixture to the crockpot with the steak.
  • Add cubed potatoes, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the crockpot. Stir gently to combine.
  • Cover the crockpot and set on low heat for 6 to 8 hours until the steak and potatoes are tender.
  • Stir in the sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese until the cheese melts and blends into the dish.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top and serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
