For the Salmon

  • 4 fillets Salmon 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil for cooking

For the Creamy Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons Butter for richness
  • ½ cup Heavy cream for silky texture
  • 1 cup Chicken broth for flavor depth
  • 1 unit Lemon juice and zest
  • 1 tablespoon Capers for briny flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced

For Garnish

  • ¼ cup Fresh parsley chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season 4 salmon fillets with salt and pepper, and place them skin-side down in the hot pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add 3 tablespoons of butter and let it melt. Stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth while scraping the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a gentle simmer for about 2-3 minutes to concentrate flavors.
  • Stir in ½ cup of heavy cream and the juice and zest of 1 lemon. Let bubble gently for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of capers and return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, allowing them to soak up the sauce. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle ¼ cup of chopped parsley over the top and serve with the sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to maintain creaminess.
