Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the pork sausage until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, cubed Velveeta cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and sour cream until smooth.
  • Mix in the drained diced green chilies until evenly distributed.
  • Add the cooked sausage and stir thoroughly.
  • Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper into the mixture, stirring until well incorporated.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving with crusty bread or tortilla chips.
