  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti, cooking until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon, leaving the fat.
  • In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, bringing to a simmer. Reduce heat, stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Add the spaghetti and crispy bacon to the sauce, tossing gently. Stir in reserved pasta water if needed for desired consistency.
  • Plate the spaghetti and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

For the best results, ensure the bacon is crispy and use freshly grated Parmesan.
