Instructions
 

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with the cooked macaroni, half of both the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, milk, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the meat mixture into the greased baking dish, pressing down evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top of the meat mixture.
  • Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Allow the casserole to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. This casserole freezes well for up to 3 months.
